eProcurement specialist Get Real Systems announces 20% revenue growth and signing of leading IT Services group, Touchstone plc
Get Real Systems announced today its new indirect channel model, which has proved pivotal to bucking the downward trend in eProcurement, has been directly responsible for revenue growth in excess of 20% over fiscal year 2001.
The transition to a new indirect channel model has been further endorsed by leading IT services group Touchstone plc which has become a partner reseller of its PROACTIS spend control software. With 1,400 corporate clients, Touchstone is the UK’s largest reseller of both SunSystems and Microsoft Great Plains and has chosen PROACTIS to sit at the heart of its new procurement services division.
The combining factors of extensive product development, re-positioning as the leading cross-platform spend control solution and partnership agreements like Touchstone’s, have worked together to position Get Real Systems as a leading procurement player within the last fifteen months.
Commenting on the credibility of Get Real System’s offering, Paul White, Managing Director of Touchstone says: “We were looking for a procurement system that would integrate closely with our entire portfolio of solutions, and would satisfy the requirements of our diverse customer base. Get Real’s PROACTIS was quite simply the best on the market”.
“Touchstone is the industry leader and a major market maker in this sector, we are delighted to welcome them to our growing list of partners” reflects Rod Jones, CEO, Get Real Systems. “We expect this new partnership to result in annual revenues of around £500,000 as it matures over the next five years. PROACTIS is currently the definitive spend control solution and combined with our new dedicated channel strategy we are in a strong position to out perform our own forecasts, I remain confident that GRS will deliver its very aggressive 2003 plan”
PROACTIS is modern Web-based software, developed using Microsoft’s .NET framework to enable easy and low-cost deployment across even the largest and most complex organisations. Get Real Systems remains focused on delivering software to help companies streamline purchasing procedures and control corporate spend, making costs and commitments transparent across the organisation.
About Get Real Systems and PROACTIS
Get Real Systems is the author of PROACTIS, software that helps organisations control spending and streamline purchasing. The company was established in 1996 when its founders, experienced financial software professionals, noticed that the procurement function was largely neglected by major enterprise software vendors. As a result, most organisations operate labour-intensive procurement procedures and have poor control over purchasing costs.
Today, the company remains focused on delivering software to achieve two key goals: (1) Streamline purchasing procedures and provide a framework which underpins sound procurement strategy; and (2) Control corporate spend, making costs and commitments transparent across the organisation.
PROACTIS is modern Web-based software, developed using Microsoft’s .NET framework to enable easy and low-cost deployment across even the largest and most complex organisations. Such organisations include well-known names such as the NSPCC, Cornhill Insurance PLC, the University of Birmingham and several Local Authorities.
Get Real Systems’ channel partners include some of the UK’s leading financial systems VARs and systems integrators, working with leading financial systems brands like SunSystems, Microsoft Great Plains, Epicor, Coda and Sage to offer tightly integrated solutions.
