Fund is sowing the seeds of success.

ENTREPRENEURS are being encouraged to tap into a new multi-million pound fund, which is being launched by the North West Development Agency.

The North West Seed Fund will be launched at three events, in Manchester, Liverpool and Lancaster, by Steve Sealey, who is co-founder of Lancashire AM Paper, which was sold for £200m three years ago.

The fund, managed by Axiomlab Investment Management, will make initial investments of up to £100,000 into fledgling firms.

Further cash injections of up to £350,000 per company may also be available.

It will also work closely with seasoned entrepreneurs to ensure the businesses receive mentoring and support.

Delegates wanting to attend the launch of the Manchester event at the Bridgewater Hall on Thursday, November 13 should call 0161 775 7890.
